Looking for childbirth prep classes... can anyone recommend where they have gone or what they have heard from others??

Anyone been there? What's it like - food? can kids go there in the daytime? Is it crowded in the evenings and on weekends?

Where to have one on the east side - close to danforth/broadview but willing to travel to Leslieville, Leaside, Riverdale, etc. ____Not too expensive (no chocolate fountains or jumpy castle rentals) and it will be in October so not outdoors. Got any ideas?____- Cath

I'd hesitant to try another Korean restaurant after trying one on the Korea Town strip a few years back and finding only one vegetarian item on the menu. Anyone know whether any of the newer ones (particularly the one at the corner of Palmerston I think) serve tasty veggie options?

We're renovating a house near Dufferin Grove and we need to redo all the plumbing. We're hoping to go tankless in tandem with a solar hot water system to heat our radiators and give us hot showers, but no one we've spoken to so far sounds knowledgeable enough to give us a definitive answer.

After having a child one of the best resources is a place that helps moms & dads navigate this new experience. Mom's groups can be a great place to learn from a nurse or learn from each other.

Kids are expensive. It's nice to offset some of the cost with some good old fashioned hand-me-downs... Only sometimes there's no hand above handing them down. Second best = consignment/used clothing shops. Do you have any suggestions?
