Tips for parents

Uncovering dinosaur bones gives mom 20 free minutes. My 3 year old loves the interactive displays in the animal area. Great cafeteria.

It's perfect for getting out when you have kids and need a break from home. Warm in winter, air conditioned in summer, easy to get food, lots of bathrooms, stroller-friendly, lots of things to keep the kids busy. Saved my sanity many many times!

Tips for everyone

I did the math and bought a membership, since it is paid for after 3 visits. The family membership allows for entrance of up to 4 kids (age 17 and under) with each adult member, so you can take your kids' friends (or your friends' kids) along w/o an extra cost. show more

The kids area is very hands on and not too over whelming. The cafe in the basement has tasty food and is baby friendly (high chairs etc)

From the amazing exterior architecture (as evidenced by the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal) to the dinosaurs, mummys, and tons of other stuff inside (making it one of the largest museums in North America), this place will keep you busy for hours or days.
