Tips for everyone

I agree with Liz P, the Freshwood hasn't been so Fresh lately. The last few times I've gone, I've had something wrong with my food. And, it's always freezing! I shouldn't have to wear a coat during dinner. They built up a reputation, and now are riding on it - and all locations seem to be just as slack. show more

We used to love the Freshwood - it was a weekly treat for us. Unfortunately the cleanliness, along with the food consistency, has been sliding for years. We like it so much that we tried to ignore it: even when our friends reported that their chip-dip mayonnaise contained somebody else's chip, we chalked it up to bad luck. But the last time we went, the floors were slippery with grease, the bathrooms smelly, and the highchair was positively sticky. We had friends with us and we were simply embarrassed. We hope the owners will see this posting and take the problem seriously. show more

The french fries are done English style which is to say that they are a little mushy. The falafel balls which can be added to any salad are good. The service is slow, but there is a nice patio. And crayons for the kids is an old but good trick to keep everyone happy. show more

I like them burgers. They also have a great back patio, though you'd never know it from the storefront. It's a nice quiet garden atmosphere.

This place has a cute patio and some yummy pubby food. I take that back they have some nice fish and salads and burgers with organic meats... Lunch is tasty and often not to busy. The staff are very nice. We went with kids and had a nice visit. show more
