Once your kids are walking, but before they head off to school this place is perfect. They can walk and get exhausted and they can't hurt anything. They're entertained and it's a nice outing for the day. Buy a family pass and go in fall and spring, because it's silly crowded in summer. Even in winter with a pass you can go for an hour on a nice day. Don't try to see the whole zoo - just see a different section each visit and go at least four times to make the pass pay for itself. show more
