Ok finally made it here while it was open. Great place to work - especially on dark, broody, rainy days when you feel like you can spy on the world. Good cheap grilled sandwiches. Awesome music selection.

The belljar is like most small cafes open till 4pm... when people generally stop drinking coffee. They are open every day of the week and open pretty early. They serve grilled sandwiches now- yum. And have excellent coffee shop treats (delicious brownies, lemon squares, cookies, muffins, scones, banana bread, savoury pockets...) The place has AC, wifi and places to plug in. It is a true neighbourhood place. Super friendly owners ( I met them from going a few times) and fun décor . I really like this place! show more

Been meaning to check this place out for awhile - but it's always closed! Is it my schedule or theirs?

I love the Belljar - makes commuting from west end fun!
