I hesitate to recommend this place since they are only open what seems like half of the time. And a good portion of the rest of the time they have long lines of customers. The food is quite good and homemade. The decor is very basic and getting a little worn out. show more

Cute little hole-in-the-wall cafe.

yummy brunch in an eclectic environment. but if you are after some fries you are at the wrong place. the potato salad is good but not as good a cure for a bad hangover as the eggs will be.

They have a kid's menu, crayons, and coloring thingies to draw on. Enough to keep a toddler occupied for a short while.

$5 pints every day... can't go wrong with that or their delicious food. I suggest avoiding the poutine lakeview though - just a little over the top.

Mitzi's is a great bet around Roncesvalles for brunch. I like hanging out there, moreso on weekdays when it's a little more calm than the super-busy weekends. Go with the specials, you can't go wrong.

**Mitzi's is quaint and yummy** I love going to Mitzi's for brunch... any day of the week. Actually- on the weekends it is rather hard to find a table so weekdays are better. Unless its a lazy summer day and I don't mind sipping a coffee and waiting. The decor is cozy and retro. The menu is always changing. The coffee is decent. show more

Nice spot for eating in Liberty Village. I enjoyed the brunch, and found the staff to be pretty friendly. We brought the baby along and that was fine. Almost empty when it opened at 10 am on a summer Sunday, but packed by 11. They have a nice patio too. show more

The food was good and the atmosphere fun. They have done a nice job on following through on the theme of 'School'. I would go back. The Chef was previously at Xacutti on College.

Lots of patio seating for summer; huevos rancheros with crispy corn tortillas; “Easy As Pie” deep-dish breakfast pie with scalloped potatoes and challah.

Daybreak has phenomenal brunch in portions that are, in my opinion, unreasonably large. Almost every order comes with a side of pancakes which is not indicated on the menu. The food is hot, delicious, fast. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes on a weekend. The benedicts come in 3s with a side of hashbrowns, and pancakes! show more

Love the bluegrass. It's fun for the kids to dance.

The Dakota is a great tavern. We spent our sunday morning underground at the bluegrass brunch. It was super fun. They serve platters of scrambled eggs, pancakes, home fries and sausage. Along with a bottomless coffee (where have those gone? how i love getting the jitters) and an oj. Full on old school brunch while listening to live bluegrass. Little kids are on the dance floor while parents are chowing down. Fun times for all. show more
