cafes for late-night reading rendezvous

Finding myself up late trying to get my reading done these days...and looking for nice places to get away from the tempting distractions at home! But Timothy's on Roncesvalles just isn't cutting the mustard in terms of atmosphere... it's more like a sparsely decorated group home than a warm and inviting space (!) ... and the music...my goodness! Any suggestions for me? I love Blondies on Queen, Naco on Dundas, e.g. - but they aren't open late on weekdays.

This is one of my favourite local work hangouts. The espresso is great, the wifi is free, and they've got several electrical outlets scattered around for mobile workers. Friendly staff, too. Oh, and sandwiches.

Real Spanish-style tortilla de patatas. Also a nice place to work during the day... they don't mind laptops.
