Good lunch places outside the Path?

I enjoy taking out team members for lunch to celebrate milestones and special occasions. So far I have Ninki Sushi and Smoke's Poutinerie as 2 unusual nice places to go. I'd like to stay away from Mercatto/etc and have a more casual vibe. What are other places nearby the financial district where we can go to take a break?

Zimbel's is a nice place to sit and enjoy a wonderful homemade lunch. It's my new favourite place for a healthy lunch downtown. They run a catering service also out of this space. The space is open and welcoming with good food for a reasonable price. I had the vegetarian special, a bean quesadilla, and a bowl of soup. Yummy. show more

I just ate lunch here and am in a blissful pasta-induced coma. Fusaro's has been around since about 1998, and the long lunch line indicates it has become something of an institution. If you're in the area and hankering for healthy and tasty food at modest prices, this is a great bet. show more

Delicious authentic southern Italian cooking from a third generation cook. Fusaro's is very busy at lunch, but it's for good reason and makes the experience more fun.

For very fast, high quality food, Ravi Soup is one of my favorites. The Ravi Combo includes a soup and a wrap for 10.99 and the quality is phenomenal. Give the pulled pork wrap w/ Mango and edamame and a Curried apricot and lentil soup on the side! show more
