Looking for childbirth prep classes... can anyone recommend where they have gone or what they have heard from others??

I took a hypnobirthing class with Shawn Gallagher in 2005. I delivered my daughter naturally, without medical intervention or drugs, in just 12 hours. I appreciated that, as a retired midwife, Shawn had a lot of expertise and experience. She was incredibly reassuring and very supportive. show more

I took a hypnobirthing course here and found it to be very informative. It has a yoga-esque feel - and is all about giving birth naturally so it's not for everyone. Good preparation for everyone but may not line up with people's plans. show more
