St. Lawrence Market a Toronto neighbourhood

Best chiropracter I've ever had. Physiotherapists are supposed to be amazing too. They aim to get you better as soon as possible and not commit you to years of therapy.

Mmm they serve good espresso. You'd think there would be more good espresso places near St. Lawrence Market, it being a food magnet, but it turns out this is one of the few coffee spots nearby.

Every Wednesday, they have fajita night

just had an amazing, reasonably-priced brunch here. Yay, new brunch spot in Dufferin Grove!

On a rare trip outside my own 'hood I stumbled across this tiny little bakery. I'm sure their bread is good but the exciting thing, for me, is that they have the English treats I remember from my childhood like Bakewell tarts, Eccles cakes, madeira cake and wonderfully gingery ginger cake. show more

Kids hallowe'en costumes at cheap prices. Go early though! They sell out.

If your friend is downtown, Sue de Wolfe at Commerce Court is my favourite chiropractor ever, and she worked on me when I was pregnant.

We love the fish and we always shop on Saturday around 3 pm. The market is closed on Sunday and Monday so at this point the fish guys are giving away tons of free fish with every purchase. We go for a salmon steak and come home with free crab cakes and lobster tails! show more

When I’ve needed to focus off-site, I’ve come here and set up my computer at one of the only two tables at the back near an outlet. I drank cappuccino in the morning, matcha in the afternoon; homemade soup and thick sandwich for lunch; snacked on fruit and pastries in the late afternoon; sucked on the free wi-fi for 6-8 hours. Staff were always very gracious and friendly. Lots of traffic from George Brown, but slightly quieter in the summer. show more

Awesome in-house brews made by one of the original guys from Mill St.

Best Ontario Microbrew selection in Toronto hands down... something like 50 beers on tap and decent (but not spectacular food)
