We had a fun date at this lovely little restaurant. The focus at Brockton General seems to be locally sourced good food and not splashy decore. The staff are friendly. Everything that we tried off this very small menu was good. I felt well taken care of. show more

This is a restaurant for cosmopolitan palates, those jaded by pricey, overcooked, underwhelming meals from popular, large-scale restaurants. Chef Nick Liu’s dishes are terrific (fish is always divine, as is the lamb), and the menu is constantly changing. Mostly European and Canadian dishes with a twist, sometimes with an Asian touch. Owner Anton Potvin is frequently in house to help with wine pairing. When the dining room fills up, it can be energetic or too loud, depending on your mood. Patio dining at the front is lovely in the summer. show more

I've found some fantastic menswear at this shop. They've got a lot of designer crisp clean shirts at discount prices. Some of the labels were European others were from Montreal. The selection isn't huge so you need to check back at times. It's worth a look! show more

Expensive adult toys - not sex toys, toy toys, but for adults. Fun for adults who don't want to shop at Toys 'R Us but want to keep buying toys and collecting figurine sets. show more

There's a lot to say about the Drake. One notable thing, since most eateries close a little on the early side in Toronto, is their 24-hour restaurant. show more

You have to get there early on the weekend if you want your croissants. The French products they carry (chocolate, jams, candies) are also worth a visit. A definite must add to your list if you are on Queen West. show more

When you live in downtown Toronto, to have access to such an amazing neighbourhood park is a lifesaver - my toddler likes going to the 'big park' all the time. It has a great rec centre, a large grassy area, two playgrounds, a farmer's market, tennis courts, a hockey rink... lots of room for kids and dogs. show more

This org is fantastic! Exactly what our kiddies need. Ask your daycare and school if they have considered it. They offer great vegetarian options, better than some veggie restaurants and when they serve meat they serve local and organic! Seriously it's usually only a few bucks more a month so it's crazy that all daycares don't use it. show more
