Great Fair Trade coffee and espresso, fantastic bakeed goodies from Circles and Squares and a great friendly, community environment. They're very family friendly and they have free wifi. Change table, high chairs and booster seats and lots of families with small kids and babies. show more
Very baby friendly, alternative restaurant

This place has a big round table on a back room with a big window onto the street. There is a door that closes - so it seems like a perfect place for a book club meeting. The one catch is it's not in the area Sarah was looking for. It's in ROncesvalles. show more

This is great place to go in the early morning or late evening in the summer months. Mid day I find it's too hot to take your dog in the actual off leash fenced area due to the fact that there is no shaded area. Has a wonderful dog fountain and benches to sit while your dog plays. show more

This cozy little parkette can be reached from the South parking lot of the nearby Loblaws--a great place for little ones to get out some energy prior to grocery shopping. Students from the nearby high school can be found loitering during school hours, but garbage is minimal and the teens are respectful when families show up to play. Self-enclosed, well shaded and quiet. show more
Fern Ave has a small playground that is meant for the preschool that operates out of the school. It's small, but geared towards the under-4 yr olds. show more
