This is a restaurant for cosmopolitan palates, those jaded by pricey, overcooked, underwhelming meals from popular, large-scale restaurants. Chef Nick Liu’s dishes are terrific (fish is always divine, as is the lamb), and the menu is constantly changing. Mostly European and Canadian dishes with a twist, sometimes with an Asian touch. Owner Anton Potvin is frequently in house to help with wine pairing. When the dining room fills up, it can be energetic or too loud, depending on your mood. Patio dining at the front is lovely in the summer. show more

Expensive adult toys - not sex toys, toy toys, but for adults. Fun for adults who don't want to shop at Toys 'R Us but want to keep buying toys and collecting figurine sets. show more

I liked the cheese plate as well - perhaps because it was the only thing I orderd. There was no way I was eating horse. In fact, some of the "animals" they served were a bit disturbing for me so I probably won't go back. show more

You have to get there early on the weekend if you want your croissants. The French products they carry (chocolate, jams, candies) are also worth a visit. A definite must add to your list if you are on Queen West. show more

Absolutely do not recommend shopping there. I had a problem with a product and the owner was obstinate and rude - really not professional at all. A few good options are: Kingly Kool Klothes 1320 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON - (416) 536-2601 or Baby On The Hip 969 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON - (416) 465-4141. show more
