The coffee at the Red Bean is fantastic - best I have tasted on Bloor West. Fresh made baked goodies to go along with the coffee make a wonderful combination. The staff is warm and friendly and always greets you with a smile - such a warm and inviting place to sit back and enjoy an espresso and a good book. show more

"What sets us apart is our commitment to organic, sustainable and wholesome local fare delivered with attention to excellence in service. Our multi-level house has something for everyone." It's true. The food is great. The place is huge and has a pub area and a more formal restaurant area. I went with a girlfriend and a little one and had a great time. I'd go back for sure. The food is a cross between pub food and casual restaurant fare. show more
If you've had a long night and are headed to the great playground in High Park in the North/West corner, Cafe Novo can be your saviour. They'll happily supply you with a lovely coffee and treats on your way to the park. It's a cozy little place and conveniently located almost across Bloor Street from the playground. YAY! show more
Hello West End moms, My name is Helen and I am the General Manager of the High Park Choirs. I am looking to hire a west end/High Park mom who would like to be our "Community Liason" for our choir. This person would work on a freelance, part-time basis and would do things like: get flyers of our concerts out to to local businesses, ask local businesses if they want to advertise in our concert program, delivery audition flyers to schools, churches and community centres in the area. This is a paid position. Do you have a way of getting this information out to moms in the west end area? Please let me know. Thank you very much for your help.
