this place is always packed - strongly recommend coming early 5:45- 6pm or, surprisingly, the line is mostly gone by 8:30.

I actually haven't been here myself (yet) but I am recommending it based on the fact that my good friend has just joined this practice. She offers cranial sacral therapy (which I believe is related to osteopathy but not the equivalent) and I know she would not join a community of practitioners that she did not feel good about. Oh. My. Lord. Best ice cream sandwich you've ever had.

I had two of the best lattes in the city yesterday! Oh yes. No doubt. I visited both Sam James tiny locations in one day. What luxury. The pocket is so small that you may miss it while walking by. Just enough space to make some fabulous drinks and some space to wait... I have visited Sam James along his coffee journey, at the shops he has worked at over the years (cherry bomb, manic, darkhorse), and he has definitely learned the craft to be the best. The wait staff could be a bit warmer, but the food is pretty good and the prices are decent. All you can eat side dishes. Clean atmosphere, but doesn't feel very Korean.

Cash only! I can't say enough times how incredible these ice cream sandwiches are, or how kind the owners seem.

To eat their baked goods hot and fresh, get there at 11:30 am or 3pm or (I forget their 3rd batch time).

I've been here several times with vegetarian friends and they've always found something yummy - usually the bi bim bap which is delicious (just ask for no egg if you're vegan).

If you bring your own containers they will fill them (instead of recyclable takeout containters). And they really fill them!

Great onion rings - I prefer the recipe they use in the evenings, but the ones at brunch are pretty good too.

Beer. Whiskey. Comfy seats. Smart staff. There's a lot to like about Drift. The bar has a lot of 2- and 4-spot tables, but you can also squeeze in a party of 10 or more if you get there early enough.
