The 100-Mile Child
100-Mile Child has just a few books - but their good ones! I think the books they have are all up on their website as well if interested in checking out descriptions before heading down there.

100-Mile Child is a great place to get children's toys and clothes made in North America! You won't find any "Made in China" stickers here! Some of the products are a little bit on the pricey side but the quality is worth it. The toys are non-toxic, and handmade. Having just opened in November, the owners are trying to make a go of it - I hope they do so we don't lose this source of good local products! show more
Perhaps you can’t take a 2 or 3 hour lunch at work to get your hair cut, styled and coloured. What if your weekends are packed wall to wall? Maybe you’re looking to truly relax while you get your hair done. Welcome to Flaunt. There are salons in Toronto where you can get your hair done. There are evening and late-night lounges in the city where you can chillout in bliss. There are urban event spaces where style is redefined. But there is no place to enjoy all of these at once. Until now. show more
wonderful tarts, pies, cakes. Better on the succulent, don't worry about too much butter stuff, than on the fluffy, didn't even notice it stuff. Unlike Daniel & Daniel, say, which produces stuff that looks great but sometimes has, say, tough crusts, Sweet Treats always taste great and also look great. show more
