Went for dinner on a cold dark winter night and had the best Thai food ever! I highly recommend this place.

Amazing place to buy electronic parts including networking wiring. I'm not sure if they do repairs, but they probably know people who do. Also, they have a "wall o' mystery" and a gorilla in their front doorway. Badass.

New Place opened called Knife http://www.torontolife.com/daily/daily-dish/opening-daily-dish/2010/06/01/just-opened-knife-a-queen-west-shop-devoted-to-the-world’s-best-kitchen-blades/

DO NOT let those travelling sharpeners touch your kitchen knives (especially if they were expensive). You can buy a small sharpener at Lee Valley for about $15. with which you can maintain your knives yourself. Once you have the knives honed by a professional (i.e. Pollocks or otherwise) then you can maintain them yourself. If you cut yourself with a dull knife it is much worse than a sharp one! show more

All-vegan burrito and taco place. They also have delicious donuts! Try the "pulled-pork" burritos.

Staff is AMAZING with children. Not too much space for large strollers but they have high chairs.

Sadie’s is a vegetarian diner with some vegan items on the menu. Great local place. Usually quiet, but service is fine.

A good place to get some authentic thai food for lunch. The place is packed so go early or late. Dinner seems pretty quiet yet. This space has nice modern decor contrasting their original location on parliament - sukho thai- both delicious. Although this space is quite a bit more upscale it is not a lot more expensive. show more

Marben is mainly for meat lovers, serving local farm meat. They buy the whole animal and cut it inhouse. (Also offer butcher workshop). I am recommending this place mainly for one reason, they have the best Beef Bacon I have ever tasted in my life. It is worth the trip to Wellington, on a Sunday afternoon. Keep in mind that they ran out of things quite quickly and they do not stress about having everything at all times. Service is excellent. show more

I recently had a great lunch here with my business partner. Delicious food, good coffee and great service all combined in this very bright well designed space. The interiors mix industrial elements with teak and reclaimed wood. Just what this area needs- a fabulous bar with food and reasonably priced drinks! show more

Ocho is a boutique hotel with a restaurant / cafe, espresso bar, and liquor bar on its first floor. You may have noticed the astroturf alongside the building... I'm guessing it will transform into a really nice patio in summertime. Hotel rooms open up in June 2011. show more

I know Canadian Tire is hardly a secret, but I hadn't been for years because the one at Church and Yonge can be pretty discouraging. But I went to this one by the Eaton Centre today, and it's great. It's huge, well-stocked, organized and tidy, and the staff is actually helpful. Plus they have this escalator especially for carts. It's so cool... show more

This is a fabulous daycare centre. The staff is very nurturing and caring. Every morning they greet us with a big smile and the children learn and have fun at the same time. I highly recommend this childcare centre

Went there for dinner. The staff were really pleasant. Friendly, welcoming. The food was great. I never had a sushi pizza before and it was delicious. I left the restaurant full and happy. Quiet, funky interior would make this a suitable date place.

Also known as "Jules Bistro", this is a little French eatery just south of Queen on Spadina. I had a great lunch here the other day with a few friends. Nice ambience, a little upscale, caters to a business crowd. The steak frites was delicious. The "arrogant burger" looked interesting... I resisted. show more

I'm sure Miss Cora's is best known for their cupcakes because they are delicious. But they also have nice sandwiches for lunch as well as pizza slices. Miss Cora's has a home made feel and is reasonably priced for lunch.
