Golden Turtle Restaurant
Used to be one of my heroes, but I think their customer service has gone down. Food is still great, but they could make an effort to be more welcoming & friendly.

We had a fun date at this lovely little restaurant. The focus at Brockton General seems to be locally sourced good food and not splashy decore. The staff are friendly. Everything that we tried off this very small menu was good. I felt well taken care of. show more
I bought a pair of lovely (read expensive) glasses here that are amazing a few years ago. I was in a car accident where the frames got mangled to the point I thought they were done for. I brought them to the shop and they kindly repaired them free of charge!! That's what I call service. I was so happy to have them repaired because insurance would not have covered them due to a high deductable. I love RAPP. show more
They roast beans right there in the front of the store. Doesn't get better than that. They have a wonderful hidden court yard patio out back. You can nip in through the alley and leave your dog out back while you come in to get your coffee. show more
Not licensed, but the best fish burritos in the city. Not battered!

Basically vegan, with cheese as an option in some dishes. I generally feel healthier after eating here!

Great birth prep classes! Highly recommended by my midwives.

Sunday bluegrass brunch is always a great time. The food's OK, but the atmosphere is awesome: big communal tables, live music, and kids on the dancefloor!

This org is fantastic! Exactly what our kiddies need. Ask your daycare and school if they have considered it. They offer great vegetarian options, better than some veggie restaurants and when they serve meat they serve local and organic! Seriously it's usually only a few bucks more a month so it's crazy that all daycares don't use it. show more
A shop full of one million potential gifts. Everything is designer fancy and not cheap. But when you own some of these well designed household items you appreciate them over and over again. For instance I bought a beautiful bottle opener for my hubby. It gets a lot of use (ahem!?) and the sleek design makes opening that beer even more pleasant. Well worth the investment. show more
A great place to grab some prepared foods. Delicious salads. Not cheap but high quality. They also have a delivery service for people who don't have time to cook but want to feast like royalty. (I haven't ordered it so I'm not sure if the portions are regal - but the flavors are fantastic from what I've tried). show more
