Cool looking venue. Pizza can be a bit run of the mill for the liking of some birthday boys/girls. I think it's fun.

Set back from the street - so you might walk by (in my case for 2 months) before noticing it exists. Great summertime patio to satisfy your inner urban-hipster. Friendly staff, consistently good espresso, tasty treats. Good spot to meet your girlfriend and gossip. show more
Clean and modern place with nice people. If you're getting a cut, the cost is reasonable (~$50), but if you're getting colour, it's not as economical.

Little Nicky's serves up a nice americano. A single is $2. Which is a sweet price for dowtown. They also have some decent looking food and freshly made donuts. The space is small but cute. It's in a handy location just south of Queen W on Peter. show more
I don't know about the expressos but the Americanos are AMAZING!

Currently serving coffee and bakery items; apparently there are plans afoot to serve lunch and brunch as well. show more
Cosy and warm little spot where you can go to relax with a pint and eat traditional pub fare such as bangers and mash and full roast dinners (provided you are not a vegetarian), in which case you can eat mushrooms on toast (which is actually pretty tasty). Although this place was quiet when I was there, I was pretty convinved that a raucous was about to break out at any moment. It's the quiet ones you have to watch... show more
