Sweet Pete's is an amazing bike shop. The service was fantastic and the staff were super nice. (weird for a bike shop- i know!) They have a great selection of bikes, their prices are reasonable and their staff is very knowledgeable. All in all a great experience. show more

Had a super relaxing brunch at the Bloordale Pantry. The space is like a nice old diner. The food was good. The service was good. I'd come back. They have all day breakfast, burgers and sandwiches. I think they are open for dinners now too. A cute spot. show more

Beer. Whiskey. Comfy seats. Smart staff. There's a lot to like about Drift. The bar has a lot of 2- and 4-spot tables, but you can also squeeze in a party of 10 or more if you get there early enough.

I am not so sure I would call this place "kid-friendly". I have tried a few times and always got the impression the staff thought my baby was a bit of a nuisance. I felt a bit unwelcome with my child (who was very well-behaved--silent practically.) Perhaps as they have achieved more success, they have changed. show more

Small space, you have to leave the stroller outside but they have booster seats (no high-chairs), toys, and a great kids menu.

Small, clean Middle Eastern restaurant with excellent fish in a pita and baklava. I'm sure everything else is good too - if you can do fish in a pita and baklava I'm sure everything else is easy.

My friend & I and our kids (3 under 5) had the WORST service ever here one weekday at lunchtime. Long story short, we were here for an hour and left without eating, as our waitress repeatedly promised "5 more minutes". Our kids were starving, and our grown-up lunch date was ruined. Very, very very disappointing. show more

New Canadian Drain & Plumbing Ltd

They did some work for us. The price was fair and the quality of work was good. They work hard and know what they are doing. Grueling work at times! They removed our 'trap' and also dug a huge hole in our bathroom basement floor to fix a leak. show more

went recently for coffee and treat. SOOOO nice to be able to get any treat they have because they're all vegan. Checked out the dinner menu, looks divine. The chef (owner?) told me it's all vegan, except they have some items on the brunch menu that use free range organic eggs. show more

This is a fun little local pub run by the same folks who own the Communist's Daughter. It's a nice place in a fairly bland strip of Bloor. Good food, too.

Aside from being a really beautiful library with tons of comfy seating, this branch also has a kids / parents area with activities for the little ones. It's pretty close to the Lansdowne subway station.

This library is absolutely beautiful. They've done a great job at respecting the original building while adding on a bright and open addition. They have plenty of books and comfy seats. They have a nice kids area and free wifi.

3 Speed has fabulous ambiance and good food. They have a decent variety of drinks at reasonable prices. The wine list is short, but no complaints.

I had a tandoori chicken naan and an americano for lunch the other day. Both hit the spot. Holy Oak is a cute little cafe by day and bar with live music by night. It is very much a neighbourhood hangout. Furnished with mismatched furnishing...the decor is quaint and homey. I dig it. show more
